How to Use Reed Diffuser the Right Way
What is a Reed Diffuser?
A reed diffuser is a simple home fragrance device that consists of a narrow bottle filled with scented oil and absorbent sticks, called reeds. The usually rattan reeds draw the fragranced oil up tiny channels through capillary action, releasing the scent into the air as the oil slowly evaporates. Reed diffusers work continuously without flames or electricity, unlike candles or plug-in air fresheners. This means they provide a constant, subtle aroma in your space with no need to light or power anything. How to Use a Reed Diffuser
Using a reed diffuser is relatively simple. Here’s how you can safely set one up and enjoy the best fragrance:
1. Choose Your Scent
Choose a fragrance for your diffuser oil that you like and is appropriate for the room. There are so many fragrances available, from fresh, clean scents to warm, soothing scents; thus, pick one that creates the mood you want.
2. Position the Diffuser
Place the diffuser in a good position before you open it. Locate it near where you want the fragrance to be present, ideally in a small or medium-sized room.
